parks

These are my favourite amusement parks …

Jardin d’Acclimatation
Pour moi, shopping’s not really my thing, the Faubourg St. Honore, avenue Montaigne … because only a few minutes away by taxi, this small amusement park has lots of rides, a petting zoo, playgrounds, a bunch of activities and restaurants. Coooool!

Disneyland Resort Paris
Obviously we love it ! . Only an hour away by train or limousine … and ask the concierge you buy tickets in advance to avoid the lines ! Leave early if you want to do both parks and check the program on the official site to plan our your visit. Me, I always have lunch at the Blue Lagoon, Inside the Pirates of the Caribbean, with the pirate ships going by our table!

Parc Astérix
Asterix the brave little Gaul with his big buddy Obelix are real stars in France, and you’ll enjoy a beautiful day in this very French theme park, along with these friendly characters . Be sure to check with the Concierge for the opening days before you plan to go there. If you want to see how the Frenchies do it, this is a must!

La France Miniature
Imagine a place where all of the most important landmarks of France are reproduced in miniature ! , the highways and railways, Mont Saint-Michel and the fortifications of Vauban, the Royal Rope Rochefort, the ancient Gard bridge and even the Stade de France ! … A beautiful park not to be missed!

Mini-Chateaux
If you are visiting the Loire Valley, « Mini-Castles » is a bit like France Miniature, but only for those famous castles such as Chenonceau (just next door), Chambord, Amboise, Azay-le- Rideau, Chaumont, and many others. So as you probably won’t have time to get them all for real, do it with a little visit!

Le Puy du Fou
If you’ve planned a long vacation in France, checked out the Loire Valley, just a little further west is the wonderful Puy du Fou park with its famous medieval shows, Viking gladiators, and lots of other cool historic stuff!
In the Vendée region
