Ladurée is the most well known of the venerable French pastry houses. The shop on the plus belle avenue du monde has their famous macarons, cinnamon rolls, cakes and chocolates, as well as a tea room and restaurant. They often have long cues and sell out sometimes before lunchtime.

La Maison du Chocolat is one of the most well known cacao purveyors in Paris. The closest shop is just a few minute’s walk from the hotel and has an elegant selection of boxed chocolates as well as their famous ganaches.

Since 1761 (the oldest candy shop in the city) , A la Mère de Famille has been delighting Parisians with famous specialties such as marrons glace, calissous, chocolate bars and bonbons of all shape, size and color. The building is a protected historical monument. Although there are several store, this one is the original boutique.
