    A tour of the city to discover the major landmarks.

    From «the heart of Paris», on the Ile de la Cité where you will learn more about Notre-Dame-de-Paris Cathedral and its world’s best-known flying buttresses, the magnificent stained-glass windows of la Sainte-Chapelle, the stark and gloomy Conciergerie, surely haunted by the ghosts of the guillotine’s victims.
    You can also have a flânerie on the Left Bank, and the Latin quarter, where students stroll around in the old and tiny streets next to la Sorbonne University and the Bouquinistes’s books boxes…

    In le Marais area, one of the oldest districts in Paris, admire the beautiful 17th century mansions and the stunning place des Vosges. You may experience some of the trendiest new designers’ shops on rue des Francs Bourgeois and some small streets of the Jewish district.
    Continuing along rue de Rivoli to the Tuileries gardens and the courtyard of the world famous museum: le Louvre with the great Pyramid.

    Discovering Vendôme square, rue de la Paix and the most famous jewelers, on the way to reach the beautiful Opéra Garnier, emblematic of the 2nd Empire architecture.
    Passing by the Madeleine church, then on rue Royale, leading to the Concorde square where the terrifying guillotine stood during the French Revolution, you will discover nowadays, the Obelisk from Luxor.
    From here, the world-wide known Champs-Elysées Avenue leads to the Arc de Triomphe, Napoléon 1st’s tribute to his «Great Army». Crossing the river Seine again, you will meet the Eiffel Tower, «the grand old lady» of Paris.
    Prior to coming back to your hotel, You will pass by the Invalids to admire the dome of Napoléon’s tomb.

    PARIS by DISTRICTS

    Option 1: Le Marais

    Believe it or not, this area is still relatively untouched after 400 years in the City of Lights; this walk will let you witness many different aspects of the Parisian lifestyle. You will see several of the beautiful 17th & 18th century mansions lining the streets, discover the boutiques of the trendiest French designers in rue des Francs-Bourgeois, and finally reach the famous place des Vosges (a gem of the 17th century architecture).

    Option 2: Jewish district

    The highlights of the visit will be the picturesque streets such as rue des Rosiers, a museum dedicated to the Shoah, the Art Nouveau synagogue designed by famous architect Guimard, this district is a place of emotion, memory and culture.

    Option 3: Montmartre

    Visit the Sacré-Coeur, the place du Tertre and of course enjoy the best view over Paris.You will also discover a funny rabbit, a house in the fog, a strange man in a wall and last but not least, charming courtyards, elegant townhouses, stunning views, vineyards and picturesque cobble stoned streets.

    Option 4: Left Bank

    Starting this tour on Ile de la Cité, where all Paris’ history comes together, you may visit Notre-Dame-de-Paris cathedral, the Sainte-Chapelle, stroll around the tiny streets as the street of «le Chat qui Pêche», see the old church St-Julien-le-Pauvre and the Cluny museum with its medieval tapestries.
    Pass by la Sorbonne University, cross the Luxembourg’s gardens and the place Saint-Sulpice, come back through the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area, a well-known gathering center for 6 philosophers, writers, actors and musicians.

    Follow your Fashion Expert in the history of French fashion, from the beginning of «Haute Couture» in the 20th century to the present fashion designers, through the Golden Age & the Last Wave (60’s – 70’s), and illustrate this knowledge in both vintage boutiques and Paris major fashion design companies. If a temporary exhibit about fashion is displayed during your stay, your fashion expert will lead you to the museum.

    Because the Louvre Museum is so huge that you can visit it again and again, our professional licensed Guides propose a selection of visits with specific focus:

    The «Risqué» Louvre, The Stars of the Renaissance, The Sculptures and Architecture.
    Note: The Musée du Louvre is closed on Tuesdays. The Musée du Louvre has late openings on Wednesdays, Fridays, and the first Saturdays of the month (until 9:45pm)

    ORSAY Museum

    Originally designed for the 1900 World’s Fair as the terminus of the city of Orléans railway station, and after escaping a demolition in the 70’s, the building reopened its doors in 1986 as the Musée d’Orsay. Another refurbishment was done in 2012.
    The collections occupy three levels covering works from the mid and late 19th century, the Art Nouveau decorative art, a range of paintings and sculptures from the second half of the 19th century and of course the outstanding collection of Impressionists (Monet, Renoir, Manet, Van Gogh, Degas, Cézanne) and Néo-impressionists art (Seurat, Lautrec, Gauguin).
    Note: The Musée d’Orsay is closed on Mondays.

    POMPIDOU Museum

    Located right between the Chatelet and the Marais districts, the Pompidou center is a multicultural museum created in the 70’s. Visit this incredible building, a piece of art in itself, and witness one of the most important collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe, and enjoy a superb view on Paris.
    Note: The Centre Pompidou is closed on Tuesdays
